The project of consolidation of volost network of Yelabuga canton in the Tatar ASSR

The article is devoted to the administrative-territorial transformations that took place in the Tatar ASSR in the first half of the 1920s.on the basis of published and unpublished sources, the author reveals the prerequisites for the volost reform, gives a description of the Elabuga Canton, analyzes the options for the project of consolidation of its volost network, displays the results of the approval of the plan directly in the Canton and the approval of its final version in Kazan.
