Teaching aids for schools in the North, forming civil, regional and ethnic identities

The article aims at solving methodological problems associated with the development and implementation of the content components of the main educational program in the format of textbooks on the subject “The World” in primary school directed at the complex formation of civil, regional and ethnic identities among children of the North and the Arctic. To implement the developed educational tasks in practice, the author applied the methods of scientific and practical research: a review of scientific sources on the problem of research, approbation of textbooks. The study proved that the content and methodology of the developed textbooks on the subject “The World” for the elementary schools of the North and the Arctic promotes the development of certain practical results of activities on the formation of civil, regional and ethnic identity for the sustainable development of the region.
