Despite of that the epic “Kitabi-Dede Korkut” has been known to the scientific world for more than two centuries, its’ researching continues unabated. These studies are carried out on various aspects of this epic and describe it from different prisms. Academician Tofik Hajiyev had been played a special role in these studies of the epos “Kitabi-Dede Korkut”. T. Hajiyev is one of the eminent Korkut studiers of our time. The scientist has original ideas about the language and style of the epos, as well as its place of origin, the mythological worldview. The coverage of the study of his writings on the “Kitabi-Dede Korkut” epos is important for linguistic science. The article is devoted to these issues and is associated with the study of the comments of the scientist on Kitabi-Dede Korkut.
