Avar phrases with a dependent noun in the dative case and their correspondence in English

The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of substantive phrases in the Avar and English languages. The features of coordination, control and junction in the Avar language are revealed, representing the contrast when compared with the similarly named links in the English language, both in terms of coordination categories and in terms of the common belonging of dependent words. A detailed analysis of the structural models and semantic types of substantive phrases of the Avar language and their correspondences in the English language reveals the typological features of the compared languages.
