Role of motivation in teaching a foreign language to students of non-linguistic universities

The article discusses the role of motivation in teaching a foreign language to students of non-linguistic universities, especially in teaching English language which is now the language of international communication. Motivation being a complicated system influences on different fields of human activities. Educational motivation is the key to successful learning, so it is necessary to create certain pedagogical conditions to strengthen the motivation for learning foreign languages.
