Phraseological units at the lessons of Russian as foreign language

This article is devoted to one of the relevant aspects of teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL). It raises the question of the study of Russian idioms by foreign students. The author of the article deals with the peculiarities of studying Russian phraseology and touches upon the difficulties of perception of the Russian stable expressions by foreign students. The author takes into account the intercultural approach to the teaching of RFL and pays great attention to the system of exercises. Due to these exercises the foreign students will understand the meaning of the phraseological units and will learn to use them in colloquial speech.
