This article focuses on the fact that at the present stage language strategies and tools in media political discourse realize not only information and communication functions, but also contribute to the formation of public opinion, influence mass culture and consumption, and also contribute to the management of the broad masses. Political discourse acts as a powerful power resource and forms the image of political realities, positioning the role of political subjects, values, attitudes and preferences of power structures. In all this, the primary role is played by selected language strategies and means, on which the specificity and direction of political discourse, which forms an idea of the state’s foreign and domestic policy and its possibilities for developing multilateral relations with other actors in world politics, largely depends. To a certain extent, this determines the place and role of the state on the world stage.
