Translation problems: emotive language personality

The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of modeling of the concept “aggression” in the Russian and English. Emotional concepts are complex formations and represent an integral part of the linguistic worldview. In the course of the study, the structure of the concept, its etymological, basic, and associative levels have been identified. The analysis reflects that translation of the meanings of the base level, fixed in the dictionary and encyclopedic literature, as a rule, does not cause any difficulties. At the same time, translation of the lexemes of the associative level greatly depends on the translator's emotional assessment of the described events and processes.
