This article is devoted to the resettlement movement in Siberia in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. The article describes the process, factors of resettlement, its contribution to the development of culture, education, medicine, literature of Siberia. The main stages of resettlement, categories of citizens who participated in this process are highlighted. The statistics allows to trace the most significant regions that contributed to the economic development of the country as a whole.
