The presentation of material in educational editions of culturology profile: current trends

The purpose of the article is to analyze the use of innovative approaches to the provision of material in the educational literature of cultural profile. The article deals with the problems of designing a textbook for higher education of a new format. The basic requirements for the design of the text component of the textbook are considered. Based on the presentation of the article the following conclusions and results: - the development of educational literature requires the authors to take into account the theoretical provisions of the theory of the textbook, the use of the information environment to expand the volume of educational material and the organization of educational activities of students, the active inclusion of high school teachers to the development of a new format educational book; - effective organization of educational activities of students will contribute to the new format of the educational book - a printed version with hyperlinks in the form of icons that are active in its electronic counterpart; - using the ideas and concepts of systemic and informational approaches, complemented by psycho-didactic approach gives the opportunity to adequately and efficiently develop new high quality academic books and appreciate the quality available.
