Changes in the geopolitical situation associated with the emergence of the PRC and its influence on international relations

This article is devoted to studying the variability of world geopolitical policy caused by the emergence of the People's Republic of China and its influence on international relations. In particular, the process of the formation of the People's Republic of China and the registration of the status and legal base of the state are described in detail. The most significant domestic political events of China that had a direct impact on foreign policy activity are indicated. Special attention is paid to the specifics of the relations of the PRC with the United States, the USSR and the member countries of the European Economic Community. The process of establishing diplomatic relations of China with the countries of Western Europe has been studied step by step. In addition, five main periods of the history of the development of the PRC’s foreign policy are identified and described. Outdated classical and modern foreign policy concepts have been studied.
