Conceptual field “life” in the Russian language picture of the world

The concept is an important component of the Russian language picture of the world. Applying the theory of conceptual field and analyzing vocabulary meanings, proverbs and sayings and literary text, it will be possible to construct the whole conceptual field “life”, which allows to more deeply learn the features of Russian national culture and mentality. In the conceptual field “life” the word-dominant “life” and its semantic features are located in the core of the field, synonymous, antonymic and derivative connections make up the center of the field, the interpretation field is contained in the periphery of the field.
