The foundation of the axiology of language: evaluation, value, norm, anomaly

In this article, the semantic category of evaluation is considered in logical and philosophical aspect, controversial issues arising in connection with the study of this category are analyzed: the correlation of evaluation and value, evaluation and standards, a broad and narrow approach to understanding the category of value, using the standard criterion to distinguish emotional and rational evaluation. Logical and philosophical concepts associated with the study of the phenomenon of evaluation are considered as the basis for the study of evaluation in linguistics.
