About one actual historical tendency in the inflexion of nouns

In the article the history of formation and normative codification of a specifically Russian forms of the plural types of the слесарЯ on the background variance with the forms type слесари. The competition of these forms in modern dictionaries seems contradictory, however, the trend of design options impact flexion -A and displacement of variants with flexion –и (ы) securely confirmed.
