Expressive function of precedent statements in political texts in media sources of Germany

This study belongs to the analysis of allusions in political media texts of modern Germany, where the sources are precedent phenomena. This study is exemplified in German based on the analytical-descriptive method, the method of continuous sampling of material. Allusions are represented as a mark of a text category of intertextuality. Allusions play an important role in political media discourse, creating a special semantic level by virtue of language game.
