the article presents a historical review of the discussion of the Decision of the CPSU Central Committee "On the cult of Stalin's personality" at the XX Congress of the CPSU. Archival documents of the Vladivostok city organization and city committees of the Seaside party organization concerning discussion of de-Stalinization are considered.
