Mass political and educational work in hospitals of the Chkalov region during the Great Patriotic War

This article reveals the activities of party, Soviet, Komsomol, public organizations and enterprises of the Chkalov region in carrying out political and educational work in hospitals during the Great Patriotic War. The researcher raised the problematic issues of providing hospitals with a book fund, cinematographic equipment, employment opportunities for service in the army, retraining of military personnel, as well as amateur concerts, meetings with the wounded. The author traced the stages of the party-explanatory work among the wounded and sick soldiers and hospital medical personnel.
