“Bourgeois” historians and historical science in the soviet realities of the 1920s

the article raises the problem of the specifics of interaction between pre-revolutionary historians and Soviet reality in the 1920s, including the example of changes in archaeology that occurred after the October revolution of 1917. The issues raised are as peaceful cooperation, and the subsequent harassment and repression of "bourgeois" scientists from representatives of the new authorities and historians-Marxists.
