Publicistic cycle as idiostyle constant in N. I. Novikov’s heritage

The article deals with the problem of the texts cyclical nature in the heritage of N.I. Novikov, Russian educator of the 2nd half of the 18th century. The author pay particular attention to the study of linguistic levels of the texts cyclical organisation. The article identifies cycle-forming elements, based on the analysis of N.I. Novikov's journalistic articles. The thematic, space-temporal levels of the cycle, composition of texts, genre dominant, all linguistic levels obey the logic of the cyclic structure. The main conclusion of the study is the provision that the publicistic cycle is the idiostyle constant of N.I. Novikov
