Negative and positive polarity in the information field of an English sentence

The article focuses on certain provisions related to the construction of English sentences with the perspective of determining their logical semiotic and semantic outputs which, in turn, are subdivided into two types: positive and/or negative. As a rule, the semantic output is in line with the semiotic one, however there are some phrases in the English language the semiotic layout of which is in contrast to the semantic output. This peculiarity influences in no small degree the correct choice of negative or positive polarity in further extension of the information field.
