this article discusses the features of the development of state-confessional relations in the Kuban. The article analyzes the process of strengthening the position of the Russian Orthodox Church, the construction of churches and monasteries, the creation of the state of the Cossack clergy. The estimation of the religious situation in different geographical origin Cossack regiments is given.
