Learning the Latin language in a medical university

The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of the questioning of the first-year medical students studying the Latin language. The purpose of the questioning was to reveal the difficulties faced by students during the study of the Latin language, as well as the modules of the great interest. The students indicate the professionally oriented modules as priority, and believe that the Latin grammar is the most difficult part of study. The first-year medical students consider that Latin is important for clinical disciplines. They also point up the educational and cultural significance of ancient languages.
