Philology and fiction

The article is concerned with the interaction of philology/linguistics and literature/ fiction, from Classical Antiquity to the Present Day, particularly in the domain of teaching General Linguistics and the History of Language Sciences. For the purpose of discussion, both incidental allusions and texts reflecting certain linguistic theories can be used, e.g. works by Paul Auster and Nikita Razgovorov connected with various aspects of linguistics and different periods.
