the article states the importance of social emotional intelligence for critical thinking and reflection development in the process of interactive communication at ESP lessons. The survey of scientific works permits to conclude that professional personality qualities development can be optimized by foreign language competences development. The research proves that professional personality qualities development is realized via the development of social emotional intelligence.
