Zhinkin code: some thoughts concerning Zhinkin’s universal mental code

This article represents the authors' judgments about the relationship between language and logic and thinking as one of the most important issues in the theory of psycholinguistics in the form of comments (from Latin commentari “think over”) to the article by N.I. Zhinkin "On code transitions in internal speech" (1964), in which the hypothesis of a universal mental language existence had been introduced. The authors have considered the features of internal mental activity, external mental activity and developed a hypothesis about the generation of communication both in general and professional purposes as a result of their consequent interaction.
