Linguo-pragmatic features of legal discourse (on the example of the English language)

This article presents the theoretical and practical specifics of the legal terminology of legal discourse, as well as the peculiarities of the linguo-pragmatic aspect of translating elements of legal discourse from English into Russian and preserving the original meaning of the text during the transformation. The relevance and insufficient development of the problem under consideration led to the choice of the subject / object and the setting of the goal of this work: the subject is the linguo-pragmatic aspects of legal discourse in English; object – modern legal discourse. Accordingly, the purpose of the article is to identify and describe the specific features of legal discourse in the linguo-pragmatic aspect on the example of the English language.
