Semantics of self-destruction verbs in hindi

This paper explores the periphery destruction verbs in Hindi- TūTnā “to break”, phaTnā “to split” and phūTnā “to crack”. We analyzed the lexical features of their direct use, as well as the system of their metaphorization.
