Continuity of teaching materials for chinese as a foreign language: problems and solutions

At the end of 2018, new “Federal List of educational literature recommended for use in schools of the Russian Federation” included several textbooks for Chinese language. Teachers of schools where Chinese is taught should start using textbooks from this List. The paper discusses the problem of the continuity of teaching materials, analyzing the ways of transition from the teaching materials by Wang Luxia (Chinese as the second foreign language for grades 5-7) to the complete textbook series for grades 5-9 by Rukodelnikova.
