Specifics of the British education terminology development

The research is devoted to a study of the peculiarities of the education terminology development in Great Britain. The author considers the influence of the extra-linguistic factors of the British education system development on the corresponding terminology formation, evolution, and on the emergence of terms with the cultural component of meaning in particular. Special focus is given to the terms used for the nomination of different types of educational institutions.
