Scientific and pedagogical aspects of using traditions in patriotic education of younger teenagers

The article presents the results of the analysis of scientific research and pedagogical experience of using traditions in the process of Patriotic education of young teenagers. It is established that tradition as an interdisciplinary phenomenon, cultural and pedagogical phenomenon is a relationship between generations, based on the stability of values and moral foundations, which remain the guarantor of successful development of society. The age-related prerequisites for the education of patriotism in younger adolescents are proved from the standpoint of age and pedagogical psychology, pedagogy, theory and methodology of family education.
