Cooperators: organizers of cultural and mass recreation in Chuvashia

the article considers the role of cooperation in the formation of a system of cultural and mass recreation in Chuvashia on the basis of archival materials that are being put into circulation for the first time. The authors studies the appearance and activity of cooperative structures that organize the recreation of cooperators. Various directions of work of the cooperative social insurance system in the field of forming the tourism sector in the Republic are shown. The successes and difficulties encountered by co-operators in this field were noted.
