Comparison of chinese and russian art of basic education

The article addresses the issues of comparing Chinese and Russian basic art education. The author approaches the identification of aspects of analysis by referring to the historical background of the formation of the foundations of teaching fine art in both countries. The purpose of the article: to compare the features and ways of further development of Chinese and Russian basic art education. Tasks: 1) to determine the concepts of basic Chinese education that have developed historically and to consider modern prospects for the development of art education in China; 2) compare the historically determined concepts of Chinese basic art education with the foundations of the educational traditions of the Russian art school; 3) to identify and compare the features of Chinese and Russian basic art education, to characterize the prospects for their further improvement. Methods: theoretical analysis, isolation of synthesis structures, historical-analytical method, historical-descriptive method, comparisons. Results: the article describes aspects of the historical development of art education in Russia and China, reveals their differences and ways to integrate artistic, aesthetic and visual experience into the spectrum of the foundations of basic art education. The author also pays attention to current trends in the development of art education in these countries, characterized their distinctive features.
