Accelerated early learning bilingualism

Sobor A. B.  (Azerbaijan University of Languages )

The article deals with accelerated early learning bilingualism in combination with some teaching methods. When discussing the relationship and interaction of language with the real world, metaphors are often used: language is a mirror of the surrounding world, it reflects reality, creates its own picture of the world, specific and unique for each language and, accordingly, people, ethnic group, speech community using this language as a means of communication. In the modern world, the active development of a new language is always accompanied by noticeable losses in the native language. And in our opinion, the combination of two languages in early childhood causes serious damage to language competence. In some cases (especially if the family does not support the native language), the child loses the skills of communication in the native language. No one doubts that the fact of owning two or more languages is a positive phenomenon. It is concluded that bilingualism contributes to the achievement of an adequate picture of the world in the consciousness of the individual. With all justice, it should be noted that bilingualism helps communication, cooperation, rapprochement and mutual assistance in social and political life; it also promotes widespread cultural exchange among nations.

Keywords:bilingual education, language competence, different language system, ethnic group, speech team, the combination of two languages, deliberate and arbitrary mental activity.
