Linguistic lacunarity: the analysis of metaphor based legal terms in the english language

Basing on the typology of interlanguage lacunae, English legal metaphor based terms are considered; the ways of translating them into Russian are analyzed; the most frequent ways of translating terms of this type are highlighted; the reasons for the prevalence of specific translation methods are given.
