the article examines the significance and value of the study of Russian documentation in the new 5G era, analyzes its current state, offers an innovative model for organizing library services and justifies the need for its organization within the framework of the activities of Russian documentation departments in the province of China, with the ability to meet the needs of potential users throughout the country. The results of the research on the organization of the Russian documentation departments at Heihe University and the prospects for its further development, presented in the article, allow us to speak about the possibility of providing personalized services to readers and promoting academic exchange within the framework of the existing relations in the socio-cultural and political realities between China and Russia.
