The article is devoted to the study and analysis of the structural and stylistic characteristics of the English-language military discourse. Currently, the army plays a significant role in the system of social institutions of many states, so there is a need for a comprehensive study of military discourse. The subject of the discussion in the article is the structure and characteristics of military discourse in comparison with other types of discourse. In the course of the research, the author gives details of the specific features of the English-language military discourse. The author comes to the conclusion that the English-language military discourse is a collection of speech works created within the military sphere of communication, which is governed by certain rules, traditions, experiences, and which is reflected in the choice of language means.
