About the spheres of functioning of the Altai language and its dialects: problems and prospects

This article discusses how the Altai language and its dialects function. The identified difficulties faced by their realization in various areas of communication space are presented in correlation with their demographic power. Conclusions about the need to continue working to create favorable conditions for the wider use of the Altai language are supported by concrete facts.
