The article discusses the possibilities of digital educational resources and interactive technologies as a means of teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic university at the present stage. The author conducts a detailed terminological analysis of the essence of the concepts of "digitalization", "digital educational resources" and "interactive technologies", proving the need for their ambivalent consideration. Particular emphasis is placed on the educational and linguodidactic potential of digital educational resources and interactive technologies in teaching foreign languages in a non-linguistic university, as well as methodological options for their use.
