Russian lexical borrowings in A. Bokov’s novel «Beca’s Sons»

The article examines the vocabulary borrowed by the Ingush language from the Russian language (based on the novel by A. Bokov "The Sons of Beka" by the method of continuous sampling) A brief description of the process of lexical borrowing in general, as well as the peculiarities of borrowing and the functioning of Russianisms in the modern Ingush language, is given. The chronology of active lexical borrowing of Russianisms by the Ingush language is given, in some cases, based on expediency, the article also provides some historical and etymological information. The role of Russian lexical borrowings in the development and enrichment of the Ingush language vocabulary is also actualized. An attempt was made to establish the main thematic groups in which Russianisms function in the modern Ingush language: socio-political vocabulary, cultural and everyday vocabulary, vocabulary of production and industrial relations, vocabulary related to other spheres.
