Questions written language in the textbook “shura” “language competition”

The XIX century and the beginning of the XX century went down in the history of Tatar people as a period of origin of new Tatar literature and "golden period" of national literature. Considering the role and place of literature and writing traditions in the history of development of Tatar literary language, we proceed from etymological, semantic and functional interpretation of the ethnonym" Türks". Problems of functioning of the Tatar literary language have turned into the subject of active discussions in different areas of public life. The object of the research is a textbook published in 1910 by the editor-in-chief, which consolidated all the scientific articles of the "Language Competition" under the title "Шураның "Tel Yaryshy". This publication contains all the materials of the "Language Competition" held in the magazine "Shura". The purpose of the research is to analyze the publications of the "Shura" magazine focused on language issues, including materials of the "Language Competition", published as a separate edition, from the perspective of the main methods and attitudes to the principles of formation of the Tatar written literary language. In the Soviet period, and even in modern Tatar philology, unfortunately, there is no clear understanding of the goals, reasons for the start of this competition and the results obtained.
