Methods of teaching the russian language in China: traditional and innovative methods

The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that at present in China there is a decrease in the level of knowledge of the Russian language, the attractiveness of the profession of a teacher of the Russian language is being reduced, graduates of pedagogical universities have problems with employment. The article studies the term “method of teaching a foreign language”, examines teaching methods, identifies their features and basic principles. The article also studies the methods of teaching the Russian language that are used in China, identifies their shortcomings, and suggests ways to improve them.
