Research of motivation of postgraduates of technical Universities in learning a foreign language

in professional education, knowledge of a foreign language occupies a leading position, due to the further ability to withstand competition in the labor market. In higher educational institutions of technical orientation, foreign language classes with graduate students are of a profile nature, since they are based on the studied professional area. As the main motivation of postgraduates in the study of language is noted the development of the ability of students to exchange professional information in the field of their activities and the ability to analyze information from foreign sources when writing a dissertation research. The task of a foreign language teacher is to maintain interest in their studies. The article deals with the problem of motivation of graduate students of technical Universities in the comprehension of such a discipline as a foreign language. The author presented the results of the study of motivation in learning a foreign language by graduate students at the Department "Foreign language for aerospace specialties" of the Moscow Aviation Institute (national technical University).
