Communicative competence while teaching foregn language learning in a non-language university under the conditions of distance education

The purpose of the article is to to review and systematize modern techniques of distance education in the aspect of their use for the formation of communicative competence in students of non-linguistic universities. Method of systematization and generalization, method of description, comparative method have been used. Electronic technologies that can be used as a means of teaching foreign languages were analyzed. It has been established that modern information technologies introduced into the educational process contribute to a more effective perception of educational information.
