Semantics peculiarities and functioning of turkism in the French language

The article deals with the problem of turkisms in the French language. And also investigated turkism, included in the French language and their assimilation in the recipient language. The lexical-semantic development of turkism in French is shown. Summarizing the data containing in the researches the authors provide an analysis of adaptation methods of Turkish vocabulary in the French language. Examples from the French printed literary work of french writers served as a material. On the basis of the conducted research the authors accentuate that the process of adaptation occurs in three areas: phonetic, morphological and semantic. According to observations, phonetic adaptation happens more easily than grammatical and semantic. It is evident, in this article, that the main problems of the loan are considered and quoted different opinions of the main linguists on the tasks.
