Semantic and stylistic categories of the text: typology basics

Here, in the article, was carried out the analysis of linguistic categories: semantic and stylistic, functional and semantic. These categories are explored by both functional grammar and stylistic of the text. It was found that the method of the stylistic categories’ review ensued from the style’s conditionality by the extralinguistic moments in the connection with correlates of the communicative situation and was in the tideway of functional approach to the language in the characteristic of the stylistic. The article will be of interest to students and lecturers of the linguistic higher educational establishments.
