Carl Orf and Jacques- Dalcroze in modern Chinese music education

The methods of Karl Orff and Jacques-Dalcroze are based on the personal qualities and interests of students, the development of their ability to create music, plastic and musical improvisation as a way to develop creative potential, and this is a comprehensive education that improves the ability of students to Express musical instincts. This article compares and reveals the teaching of music using the methods of Orff and Dalcroze. The main aspects of the influence of the methods of European musicians-teachers on teaching in Chinese music schools are considered, as well as the importance of using the methods of Orff and Dalcroze in teaching children of all ages and the advantage of these methods in comparison with traditional music teaching in China.
