Forms and methods of tsarist colonial policy during the Caucasian war of 1763-1864

The article deals with some aspects of the Caucasian war of 1763-1864. Attention is mainly paid to the forms and methods of tsarist colonial policy during the Caucasian war. The novelty and relevance of the research lies in the fact that the forms and methods used by tsarism in the conquest of the Caucasus have not yet been specifically studied. The article proves that tsarism conquered the Caucasus not only by military methods, but it used a variety of "peaceful" methods of conquering the region.
