This article is devoted to the study of the problem of organizing the preventive activities of a speech therapist teacher to prevent speech disorders in pupils of a preschool educational organization. The work examines the foundations of the pedagogical design of the preventive activities of a speech therapist, on the basis of close cooperation of teachers of a preschool educational organization and parents, studies the main directions and forms of activity of a speech therapist to create the necessary conditions that contribute to the prevention of speech deviations and correction of speech development deficiencies.
