Historical and environmental perspective of the development of the textile industry in Russia in the second half of the nineteenth century and in the beginning of the twentieth century (the case of Vladimir province)

The article deals with the relationship between the technological development of the textile industry of Vladimir province in the second half of the XIX and early XX century and the emergence of environmental problems. The article considers the main factors and features of the development of textile production in the region, the sources and types of water pollution by the factory industry, investigates the main measures and difficulties in the field of environmental policy.
