Intercultural communication in the methodology of teaching a foreign language

The article explores an intercultural approach to teaching a foreign language. The analysis is focused on intercultural communication as a means of developing intercultural competence based on the dialogue of cultures. The research studies intercultural competence as the main component of interculturally-oriented learning.
